You can visit this museum from 10:15 am to 6 pm everyday excluding Monday. The museum is closed on Monday. So these are the timings of prince of wales museum.
HISTORY OF PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM
Chhatrapati shivaji vastu sangrahalaya is (prince of wales museum) is founded in 20th century. It is situated at heart of north bombey, just near the gateway of india. When museum is started its name is prince of wales museum. But after the death of founder of Maratha empire chhatrapati shivaji it is renamed to chhatrapati shivaji vastu sangrahalaya.
George wittet was the architect of prince of wales museum. In this museum all weapons of shivaji. and all other things of shivaji is stored and because of this it is renamed to chhatrapati shivaji vastu sangrahalaya. George wittet has built this museum in indo saracenic style. Around this museum there are lots of trees , flowers and beautiful garden.
