  Most of the forts of India are located in Rajasthan. But one of the most beautiful fort named Golconda Fort is located in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.   Golconda Fort is located at Ibrahim Bagh, Hyderabad, Telangana. It is also known as Golkonda Fort or Golla Konda Fort. It is located at 11 km far from Hyderabad. Golconda Fort was capital of Golconda Sultanate and it is a ruined fort of southern india. Pratapa Rudra of Kakatiya dynasty in 16th century. At that time Golconda was the capital city of Qutb Shahi Kingdom, Near Hyderabad. I think,You all are known about Kohinoor Diamond. But do you know where it was located in India? Kohinoor Daimond , Hope Diamonds and other diamonds were located once in this Golconda Fort. Golconda is known for Diamond Trade.

 Golconda fort has a very beautiful architecture and it is one of the famous historical places of India. It derives too many visitors from different different regions of the world and India. Tourists loves to visit this place. After char minar in Hyderabad , Golconda Fort is the 2nd Most Famous place of Hyderabad. In holidays too many people came in Hyderabad to see Char Minar and Golconda Fort. It is famous for system of acoustics. It means one hand clap at any certain point below the dome can be hared at the highest point of the Golconda Fort. It was usable when anyone attacks on Golconda Fort.   1. Wow, I love this place. It is always a great experience to visit Golconda Fort. It is amongst my favourite places in Andhra pradesh. The architecture of this place is worth admiring. It is located 11 km away from Hyderabad city. It is a must visit for all tourists.
