Mysore Palace in karnataka

Mysore Palace is a historical place in city of Mysore, Karnataka. It is one of the famous historical Places of India. Wodeyars were the ruler of Mysore and The palace of Mysore was their official residence and seat. Palace has two Darbar halls and it includes gardens, buildings and  a fascinating and gigantic array of courtyards. Mysore Palace is located in the central region of inner Mysore.

Mysore is also known as city of palaces. It has 7 Palaces including this palace but This palace is the most beautiful and most visited tourist attraction among all palaces. If we talk about tourist attractions of India then after taj mahal Mysore Palace is the 2nd Most visited tourist attraction. It derives more then 6 million visitors annually.

in the 14th century, King Yaduraya first built a palace inside the Old Fort in Mysore. After that it was renovated by the Maharaja Rajarshi His Highness Krishnarajendra Wadiyar IV. Lord Henry Irwin was the architect who has renovated this palace from old palace. Construction of Palace was started in 1897 and completed in 1912. Its a three story stone architecture.
